ORCHID Modular Plates
ORCHID modular plates are part of the KEMPS Modular range manufactured by Vinayak Electricals in Mumbai. The plates are UV-protected so they do not turn yellow, carry a 5-year warranty, and are made to take the modules of all major modular switch systems as well as the rest of the KEMPS Modular series.
Finishes and design
The ORCHID range is supplied in Moon White, Z Black Metallic, Walnut Wood Texture and K Grey Metallic. The finish is part of the plate, so choose it with the wall colour and the other fittings in the room in mind.
Fitting and compatibility
Plates in this range mount on standard modular frames and accept the switches, sockets and modules from the KEMPS Modular series and the other major modular systems, so a single wall can mix a fan regulator, a socket and a bell push behind one plate. Our plate line runs from 1M to 18M; the plate size calculator shows the sizes each range comes in.
Where it is used
These plates are specified for new residential builds, renovations and commercial fit-outs where the switch plate is part of the finish rather than an afterthought. Because the range shares its frames with the rest of the series, a project can standardise on one system across every room.
