What a distribution box does
A distribution box, or DB, is the enclosure that holds your MCBs, isolator and the busbars that link them. It keeps live parts out of reach, gives each circuit a labelled breaker and makes fault-finding quicker. The VIYONA MCB Distribution Box line includes an SPN white line MCB box, 1 & 2 way PVC Royal boxes and a double door distribution board.

Where to mount it
Fit the box at a height that is easy to reach but away from children, in a dry spot with clear space in front. Keep it away from bathrooms, kitchen sinks and direct rain.
A distribution box must be installed, wired and earthed by a licensed electrician. Do not leave knock-outs open or cover plates off; exposed busbars are a shock hazard.
