About the Pendent Holder / Adaptor
Pendent Holder / Adaptor is a lamp holder from the VIYONA Series range, manufactured at our Mumbai works. The holder carries the lamp and the mains connection, so it is the part that takes the heat and the weight for the life of the fitting.
In the printed catalogue it is listed under "PENDENT HOLDER / ADAPTOR", packed 20 pieces to a box. It is sold by the full box, not as single pieces.
Holders are not interchangeable
A lamp holder has to match the lamp base — a batten holder, a pendant and a ceiling rose are different fittings and are not swapped for one another. Check what the existing fitting uses before ordering a replacement, or take the old one to the dealer.

Choosing a lamp holder or ceiling rose
Which holder for which point
A lamp holder carries the bulb and makes the electrical contact; a ceiling rose is the fixed point that takes the supply and, often, the holder. The VIYONA Lamp Holder line covers skirt lamp holders / ceiling roses such as Deluxe, Decent, Sathi, Sumo and Square, the compact Nano holder, the Royal fancy holder and the pendant holder / adaptor for hanging lamps.
See them all on the VIYONA lamp holder page.
Fitting it safely
Switch off at the MCB, not just the wall switch, before changing a lamp holder. A wrongly wired switch can leave the holder live even when the switch is off.
- Use a line tester to confirm the point is dead.
- Tighten both terminals firmly; a loose terminal causes heat and blackening.
- Keep the cord grip engaged on pendant holders so the wires do not carry the lamp’s weight.

Frequently asked questions
View allHow is the Pendent Holder / Adaptor different from the Deluxe Skirt Lamp Holder/Ceiling Rose?
Types: Pendant holders, adaptor here, Angle, batten, ceiling rose on the Deluxe Skirt Lamp Holder/Ceiling Rose; MRP: ₹24 – ₹34 here, ₹26 – ₹36 on the Deluxe Skirt Lamp Holder/Ceiling Rose. Both are in our printed catalogue, which is where these figures come from.
How many Pendent Holder / Adaptor come in a box?
The printed catalogue packs it 20 pieces to a box. We sell by the full box, never single pieces — anyone can buy, from a homeowner to a contractor.
Will the Pendent Holder / Adaptor fit my existing fitting?
A holder has to match both the lamp base and the fitting it replaces — a batten holder, a pendant and a ceiling rose are different fittings and are not interchangeable. If you are replacing one, take the old holder to the dealer rather than working from memory.
Where can I buy the Pendent Holder / Adaptor?
Through our dealer and distributor network — we manufacture and supply the trade rather than selling direct, and orders are by the full box. Send an enquiry with your city and we will point you at the nearest stockist, or apply to become a dealer yourself.
