LED flood light manufacturer in Mumbai
We are an LED flood light manufacturer in Mumbai: Vinayak Electricals, making VIYONA LED flood lights at our own works in Marol, Andheri East, alongside our street lights, panels, switches and MCBs. Our flood lights run from 30W to 200W in a standard series and a lens series, with two small Ultra Prime flood lights at 10W and 15W below them, all with printed MRPs.
A flood light is the fitting you aim: at a gate, a compound, a building front, a signboard, a godown yard or a playground. Unlike a street light, which hangs over a road and lights the ground under it, a flood light sits on a wall bracket or a pole and throws a broad wash of light where you point it.
This page is for contractors, builders, factory and warehouse managers, shop owners and dealers who buy flood lights in numbers. It covers what is inside one, our codes and MRPs from 30W to 200W, which wattage suits which job, standard versus lens, brackets and spare drivers, and how to order.
What is inside an LED flood light
A flood light is a sealed metal housing with a glass front, an LED board behind it, a driver in a compartment at the back, and fins that carry heat away. It hangs on a U-bracket with an angle bolt, so it can be tilted down onto the area you want lit.

The cable gland and the drip loop below it are what keep rain out at the one place water can get in. Our flood light installation guide covers the wiring and sealing step by step.

Our 30W to 200W flood lights and MRP
These are the printed MRPs from our current catalogue. Every code packs 10 per box.
LED flood light MRP, 30W to 200W
Printed MRPs from our current catalogue. Bars to scale. The lens version of each wattage carries the same MRP.
The steps are uneven. From 30W to 50W adds ₹350; from 50W to 100W, ₹500; from 100W to 200W, ₹3,250. There is no 70W or 150W in our range. The full outdoor list, street lights included, is on our flood light and street light price list.

Six wattages, standard and lens.
1082 at ₹90 and the big 1083 at ₹180.

Below 30W: the 10W and 15W Ultra Prime
For a porch, a small gate, a name board or a terrace corner, a 30W flood light is more than the job needs. Our Ultra Prime flood lights cover that end: 10W at ₹490 (1080) and 15W at ₹550 (1081), also 10 per box.
They are the lowest-priced flood lights we make and the usual choice for a bungalow gate or a shop’s name board at 2.5 to 3 metres. For lighting around a house more broadly, including wall and gate lights, see our guide to outdoor lights for home.
From here up, each step is a different job. Do not use two 15W fittings where one 30W would do; the 30W at ₹1,100 costs exactly the same as two 15W fittings at ₹550 each, and needs one bracket, one cable run and one junction instead of two.
Which wattage for which job
- 30W: a large gate, a shop front, a terrace, a signboard lit from 3 to 4 m.
- 50W: a bungalow compound, a society parking corner, a small godown yard, from 4 to 6 m.
- 100W: a factory yard, a warehouse loading area, a building front, from 6 to 9 m.
- 200W: open ground, a large facade, a box-cricket turf, from tall poles or roofs.
These are common starting points, not a lighting design. Mounting height and the size of the area decide the wattage, and the lumens on the carton decide how much light you actually get. Our two wattage pages go deeper: the 50 watt LED flood light for compounds and parking, and the 100 watt LED flood light for yards and building fronts.
Over-sizing is the common mistake at home. A 100W flood light on a bungalow compound wall lights the neighbours and the sky; a 30W to 50W aimed down does the job.
Standard or lens flood light?
At 50W, 100W and 200W each flood light comes in two versions at the same MRP: the standard and the lens version. Our catalogue does not print the beam angle of either, so ask us for the beam of the exact code before choosing.
As a general rule, a standard flood light suits a light close to the area it lights, where you want an even wash: a compound, a parking area, a yard. Lens optics in general shape the light into a defined, often narrower beam, so a lens fitting is the usual pick when the light has to travel: a tall building front lit from the ground, a sign seen from a distance, a ground lit from a high pole.
Because the price is the same, the choice is purely about the beam. Our lens flood light guide explains the difference with a diagram and how to pick for your site.
One 200W or two 100W?
Our 200W flood light is ₹5,200; two 100W flood lights are ₹3,900 at MRP, ₹1,300 less for the same rated watts.
200 watts of flood light, two ways
Our arithmetic from printed MRPs. Brackets, cable and labour extra; two fittings need two brackets.
Two 100W fittings also spread the light from two points, which leaves fewer hard shadows, and one failure leaves half the area lit instead of none. The 200W earns its place where there is only one mounting point, such as the top of a single tall pole, or where a single strong beam is wanted from far away.
Running cost across the range
A flood light’s running cost is its watts times its hours. For a security light on all night, about 12 hours:
Energy per flood light, 12 hours a night
Our arithmetic: watts × 12 hours ÷ 1000 = units (kWh). Your tariff sets the bill.
Over a year that is about 876 units for a 200W left on all night, against 219 units for a 50W. On a site with ten flood lights, the wattage choice is worth thinking about. A timer, a daylight sensor or a motion sensor on the phase cuts the hours; a smaller fitting aimed well cuts the watts.
Aiming: light the ground, not the neighbours
A flood light aimed at the horizon wastes most of its light into the sky and into the eyes of anyone facing it. Tilt it down, so the centre of the beam lands around the middle to far side of the area. The angle bolt on the bracket is there for exactly this.
Glare is also a neighbour problem. A 100W pointed across a lane into a facing building is a common cause of complaints. Mount higher and tilt down rather than lower and aimed out; a narrower-beam fitting keeps a long throw tighter; ask for the beam angle of a lens code before relying on it.
Aim after dark, with someone at the switch, and tighten the bolt once it looks right from the gate, the windows and the road.
Never look into a lit flood light while aiming it. Stand to one side and judge the patch of light on the ground.
Brackets and spare drivers
We list two wall mounting brackets: 1082 at ₹90 and the big 1083 at ₹180, both 10 per box. For spares we list 1044 for 30W to 36W at ₹360, which matches the 30W flood light, and 1045 for 50W at ₹400, which matches the 50W.
Our catalogue prints IS 15885 (Part 2/Sec 13) and registration R-71026310 in its driver section; ask us for the registration of the exact driver code. We do not list a spare driver for the 100W and 200W flood lights, so ask us for those. Our LED driver guide explains how to tell a driver fault from an LED board fault.
Isolate the circuit at the MCB and test dead before opening a flood light, especially at height. Its driver is wired to mains. Protect every outdoor flood light circuit with an RCCB (30 mA earth-leakage breaker) as well as its MCB.
Who buys our flood lights
- Contractors: factory yards, warehouses, schools and campuses.
- Builders: building fronts, podiums, entrance gates and parking.
- Shops and showrooms: signboards and frontages.
- Societies: compound walls, parking, the gate and the terrace.
- Dealers: boxes for local contractors, shops and societies.
A contractor fitting out a factory usually orders flood lights with the street lights for the approach road and the switch gear for the buildings, and we can supply all three. For a building front or a signboard, tell us the mounting height and the distance to the surface; that decides between standard and lens more than the watts do.
Ordering flood lights
We supply in full boxes of 10. A box of 1087 50W flood lights is ₹14,500 at MRP; a box of 1089 100W, ₹19,500; a box of 1086 30W, ₹11,000.
For a quotation, send the area (or a sketch with sizes), the mounting height, the number of fittings if you know it and whether you want standard or lens, plus the delivery location. Warranty runs 5 to 10 years by product; ask for the term on the codes you choose.
Our catalogue does not print an IP rating for the flood lights, so for a fully exposed position ask us for the rating of the exact code. Our guide to IP ratings explains what to ask. The LED flood light product page lists every code.
